Intro to MINGS

In year 1998, Malaysian Institute of Geomancy Sciences or MINGS in short was formed under the inspiration of Professor Master David Koh (Xi-I-Tze), his students, friends and Feng Shui enthusiasts who shared his similar passionate interests.

Professor Master David Koh who is MINGS principal consultant is supported by a team of qualified and experienced practitioners in various specialized disciplines.

Professor Master David Koh is the prime mover behind MINGS. His rich 35 over years of study into this ancient Chinese art of Feng Shui and I-Ching also made him the first person who developed and wrote a Geomancy degree syllabus for Jiao Tong University in Shanghai. MINGS 4-Step method of Feng Shui calibration is his formulation together with his English version Lopan (Feng Shui compass) with Binary language.

Part of this society’s vision are  promoting awareness of this ancient art of Feng Shui and I-Ching. Maintenance of professional standards and ethics in the proper practice through education and examinations.

Last year, MINGS organized a second Asia Pacific Geomancy Conference themed ‘Modern Living, Ancient Concepts’ at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. At this meeting of 3 great Asian civilizations, specialists from local and overseas  shared their views of Chinese Feng Shui,  Malay Tajul Muluk, Ilmu Ramal and Indian Vastu Shastra on a single platform together with 2 major schools of Feng Shui.

In conjunction with this conference, a second Kuala Lumpur Feng Shui tour was also conducted. The tour started from the peak of Ampang Hill cruising downhill to Masjid Jamek at the confluence of Sg. Klang and Sg. Gombak where it lies the zenith point of energy accumulation that drives the capital city Kuala Lumpur.

This conference seeks to explain that although the world is ever changing, the ancient concepts of Feng Shui is still applicable in Modern Living.

To those who are interested, MINGS also conduct Feng Shui, Face Reading, Palmistry and Bazi courses. 

MINGS also offered other available consulting services. They are Residential and Commercial Consultation, Yin/Burial Ground Feng Shui, Diffusion of Governing Planet, Date Selection Consultation, Marriage Date Selection, Moving House/Office Date Selection, Renovation & Ground Breaking Selection and Official Opening Date Selection.

This is in line with MINGS aim of contributing to better living and harmony for all Malaysians by enhancing one’s life aspirations such as harmony, wealth, health and advancement.
